Dear members,

My name is Kiyanosh Kamdar and I'm very proud to say that I am a Zoroastrian.  I was born in Iran, but moved to the United States in 1975 when I was very young.  I share my house with my wife of 25 years and two children Shereen and Soroush.  I graduated from SDSU with a Bachelors of Science degree in computer science.  My career started by making games for Nintendo, rides for Disney and then moving to taxes and finance.  Currently I work for Viasat, a satellite based internet service provider.

I am very committed to growing and fostering a sense of family from within our community.  I'm very concerned about our ever decreasing population and influence.  I would like to explore what can be done to expand our community and create a strong foundation for future growth, something our children can be proud of.

I believe in treating everyone with respect and integrity.  I like to be honest and forthcoming, even when the topic of conversation can be painful to hear.  Treating people fairly and being just with the understanding that not all parties will be satisfied with the outcome can be a challenge.  But with open and honest communication, it can lead to better and trusting relationships.
