August 2023 UPDATE
Dear members,
We are thrilled to inform you of a momentous achievement for our community. The Board of Trustees of the California Zoroastrian Center has successfully paid off the entire balance of loans for our beloved Rustam Guiv Center in Pacific Beach, San Diego.
This accomplishment is a testament to the support and generosity of our wonderful community. You have shown remarkable dedication and commitment to this noble cause, and we appreciate every contribution you have made.
From the initial phase of fundraising, when you helped us gather the necessary down payment, to the subsequent phase, when you helped us raise 71 percent of the total amount required to pay off the loans, you have been with us every step of the way. Moreover, you have helped us collect $300,000 for the repair and improvement of the Rustam Guiv Center. Your support has been truly amazing.
As we move forward, debt-free, we remain committed to providing a welcoming and nurturing space for all community members. The Rustam Guiv Center will continue to serve as a place of unity, learning, celebration, and growth for generations to come.
We also urge you to continue your contributions and donations, as we plan to establish a fund for similar activities and improvements in different localities to serve the entire community. Together, we can make a lasting impact and create even more opportunities for growth and unity.
