The 2020 Zoroastrian of the Year

For the first time, California Zoroastrian Center sponsored and conducted “The Zoroastrian of the Year” award for year 2020. The main goal and objective for this important task was to recognize the Zoroastrian individuals who not only work tirelessly to push their own Zoroastrian community forward and spread the principles of our beautiful religion, but also those who make an influence and positive impact in the broader global Human community.

We were delighted to see several fellow Zoroastrians from near and far sending their nominations and the reasons why their particular nominee should be selected as the “Zoroastrian of the Year in 2020.”

Judges were assigned from both Parsi and Iranian community with different backgrounds to look at all the submitted nominations and each judge was asked to turn in their top selections for the finalists.

In order to recognize and honor all who work very hard in their respective communities, bellow are the names of all the nominees and we will soon announce the winner of the “Zoroastrian of the Year in 2020”.

We are hopeful that this is just the beginning and moving forward, this would grow and we would have more nominations every year as we continue to recognize and appreciate our fellow Zoroastrians who make a difference everyday as we continue to grow “the Pride of being a Zoroastrian.”

List of all the nominees recieved for the Zoroastrian of the year 2020

مرکز زرتشتیان کالیفرنیا برای نخستین بار بر آن شد تا زرتشتی نمونه سال را در امریکای شمالی برگزیند. هدف از این گزبنش ارج نهادن به همه كسانى است که برای پیشرفت و گسترش آموزه های اشوزرتشت به هازمان خود یاری می رسانند و یا با كوشش خسته ناپذيرى به شناسایی دين زرتشتى در جامعه بزرگ‌تر يارى می نمایند.

نياز به يادآورى است که گروه مدیران مرکز زرتشتیان درپیشنهاد و گزینش نامزدها هیچ نقشی نداشته و از همکیشان درخواست نمودیم تا افراد مورد نظر خود را شناسايى (معرفى) نمايند و سپس گزینش (انتخابات) را به گروهی از معتمدین هازمان که ترکیبی از همکیشان پارسی و ایرانی است و با در نظر داشتن ويژه گی هايى که داشتیم سپردیم تا آنها زرتشتی نمونه سال را برگزینند .

بازه زمانی این گزینش برای سال ۲۰۲۰ بود که با استقبال خوبی روبرو گردید و همکیشان چندین نفر را نامزد کردند. بیگمان شمار بسیاری دیگری در هاز مان ما هستند که شایستگی این مقام را دارند و امیدواریم همکیشان با همراهی بیشتر با این برنامه نسبت به معرفی انها در سال های اینده برای معرفی آنها كوشش نمایند.

گزینش از ميان این افراد کوشا و سختکوش هازمان كارى بس دشوار بود چون که هر یک از آنها شرایط زرتشتی نمونه را داشتند.

یک نفر از این افراد را با رای بیشینه داوران به عنوان زرتشتی نمونه سال برگزیده خواهد شد.

برای قدردانی و شناسایی همه نامزدها نام آنها در زیر درج میباشد تا همگان با آنها هم آشنا شوند، و در آینده بسیار نزدیک فرد زرتشتی برگزیده نمونه سال ۲۰۲۰ را به آگاهی همگان میرسانیم.

آرمان داریم که در سال های آینده شمار نامزدها بیشتر شود و خدمات کنشگران و سختکوشان هازمان خوشنام زرتشتی بیشتر گردد.
