Membership
The CZC serves the Southern California area from Los Angeles to San Diego and we would encourage all local Zoroastrians to become members and take advantage of the community and all events at the CZC Centers.
Although distances are vast in SoCal, the CZC Centers are conveniently located in a geographic of the area we serve and where most members of the community reside within a fairly short distance from each locality.
Members and guests can attend the Centers and the Niyayeshgah for regular events, Jashans, and other religious ceremonies including Sunday services. The children can attend religion class and learn their Sedreh pooshi prayers, thus perpetuating the Zoroastrian religion.
Membership in The California Zoroastrian Center (CZC) is open to all Zoroastrians, their spouses, and children who are willing to abide by the CZC Rules, Constitution, and bylaws.
CZC’s membership year is from January to December each year. The membership fees are not pro-rated.

Current Membership Rates
All Regular members are required to pay an annual membership fee in order to maintain benefits and voting privileges. If annual membership dues are not received for each year, the membership will be lapsed resulting in discontinuity affecting voting and election privileges.
Membership privileges cannot be backdated and will be effective till the end of the calendar year. Dues and initiation fees are set from time to time by the BOD and are subject to change.

CZC accepts members only from Zoroastrians residing in the United States

The application fee is not refundable but is applied toward membership if membership is approved
Why renew your membership? Your annual membership fees help CZC to keep operating all year round.
Only registered members:

Can receive discounted tickets

Can receive discounted tuition

Can purchase priority tickets before it becomes available to the general public

Can receive free printed calendars in the mail each Nowruz

Can vote in Board of Trustees elections, Board of Directors elections, and other matters that require voting if they have been members for at least 3 months prior to the election

Can become a candidate for Board of Directors elections if they have been a member for at least 1 year

Can become a candidate for Board of Trustees elections if they have been a member for at least 5 consecutive years prior to the election

Can participate in the member-only online directory

Can become members of CZC committees, like Youth, Education, Lady's, etc

Can participate in the programs which are only offered to members

Can receive customized invitations to appropriate age group activities such as youth gatherings, senior events, etc

Can get invitations and attend General Assemblies discussing CZC's major operational and financial reports
