THE CALIFORNIA ZOROASTRIAN CENTER MISSION STATEMENT
California Zoroastrian Center (CZC) is a religious and cultural nonprofit organization that will be a body of the members and satellite centers representing them with a spirit of equality, truthfulness and fairness inherent in the teachings of Zarathushtra.
The body shall endeavor to uphold equal rights of all without intimidation or coercion, respect free minds and further the cause of building a vibrant community with team work and collaboration.
The body, in accordance with the democratic society in which it exists, shall support the freedom of speech, free will and make available the teaching of religion to all who seek.
The body shall have a genuine interest to look after the progress, welfare and needs of the community.
The body shall depict Zoroastrianism as the living religion by helping Mobeds as well as members in allowing them to perform Jashan prayers, observe traditions and follow customs.
The body shall encourage the posterity to follow the religion of Zarathushtra as well as promote economical, intellectual and spiritual growth of the community.
The body shall, to achieve the above objectivity, engage in lawful activities that is apropos to the legal system of the United States of America.
