Dear members
San Diego BOD is pleased to announce that we are planning to celebrate Pir-e Sabz (Chak-Chak). Sabz means green in Farsi and the alternative name, Chak-Chak, is said to be derived from the sound of dripping water from the mountains. Our plan to celebrate Pir-e Sabz, is to start a walk from Los Penasquitos Canyon Trail Head, surrounded by beautiful trees and walk all the way to a small creek that may remind us of the Chak-Chak. Please join us for this celebration according to below information:

When: Sunday June 12th at 8.00 AM Location: Los Penasquitos Canyon Trail Head (12350 Black mountain Rd. 92129)
Distance: Approximate 4 – 5 miles (about 3 hours walk)
What to bring: bring your own snack/sandwich and plenty of water and walking/hiking shoes
If you have any questions, please contact event committee members for further information: Shahriar Ravari, Farhad Kermani, Kavous Kont, Afshin Khosraviani
