Professor Cereti has served as the chairman of Iranian Studies at the University of Rome, Italy and has been involved with Ancient Iranian and Zoroastrian studies for a long time. He has been offered the chair of Zoroastrian Studies which has recently been endowed at the University of California, Irvine.
