Armina Davierwalla

Hello, I’m Armina Davierwalla. Since 2020, I made San Diego my home with my husband, Anosh and our 3-year-old son, Arshan.

Born and raised in Iran, I pursued my higher education in India. My upbringing was a harmonious blend of Indian and Iranian cultures, thanks to my father, a Parsi hailing from Mumbai, and my mother, a Zoroastrian native to Yazd. This cultural fusion not only instilled in me a deep appreciation for both these diverse cultures, but also for the enduring unity at the core of our faith.

Over the years, delving deeper into the Gathas led me to a ‘spiritual’ rebirth as a Zoroastrian. It never ceases to amaze me how progressive, timeless and complete the message of the Gathas are, and more importantly  how fresh and relevant it remains even after 3500+ years. I consider myself fortunate to inherit such a rich legacy.

In 2022 I volunteered for Rustam Guiv building’s fundraising efforts. I was deeply moved by our community’s passion and selfless contribution to make a dream come true in such record time. This experience fueled my commitment to continue serving this beautiful community. Thank you for your vote of confidence in electing me as a Board of Director of CZC-San Diego.

In my role, I aim to -

  1. Foster inclusivity among our Zoroastrian community in San Diego, irrespective of their origins, so we emerge as a cohesive and united community

  2. Implement fundraising strategies that will make our Center self-sufficient to function with required resources.

  3. Spread the message of the Gathas widely within our community and beyond, thereby sharing this profound reservoir of knowledge for the greater good

  4. Create opportunities to connect, have fun and make memories together as a community

I hope I am able to earn your trust as I serve you in this capacity.

Thank you!
