Essay Contest for Youth
Results of 2021 Essay Contest Ages (11-14 years)
It is a pleasure to announce this year’s Essay Contest top three entries.
First Place: Ms. Natasha Dungor from Spring, Texas
Second Place: Mr. Zeyus Spenta from Vancouver, Canada
Third Place: Mr. Arshaun Oshideri from Aliso Viejo, California
The first place essay will receive $300, second place $200, third place $100 and all three essays will be printed in the 2021 summer edition of Chehreh Nama magazine of California Zoroastrian Center.
Please give a few weeks for your checks and certificate to arrive in mail.

"According to the Gathas, can one be a Zoroastrian without a belief in God?"
The 2022 Essay Contest will be for 14-18 year old's.

"What do you consider the most important element in a happy family? Why? How does it relate to the teachings of Zarathushtra in the Gathas?"
Guidelines
Essays are accepted to the deadline on January 15, 2021
Essays must be 700-900 words in English. MS. Word format only
The contestant must be 11-14 years of age
IMPORTANT
To submit your essay, you must go to online submission section and follow the required steps or email your essay to zessayentry@yahoo.com along with your
1)full name, 2)email address, 3)phone number, 4)mailing address, 5)gender, and 6)birthdate
Confirmation of receipt of essay will be in the form of an email within 48 hours of submission
Deadline
Entries must be received via email no later than Jan 15, 2021 (23:59 pacific time)
Awards
First Place: Certificate and prize of $300
Second Place: Certificate and prize of $200
Third Place: Certificate and prize of $100
* All prize winners will be announced on March 20, 2021 on this website
* Certificates and prizes will be mailed to the winners on March 20, 2021
* Additional awards will be given if applicable
